All About Pam Catoe

Like many beer lovers, Pam discovered craft beer in the late 90's, mostly through imports. She moved to Austin around that time and has watched the craft beer scene emerge and grow. In 2015, the owners of CraftBeerAustin.com approached her to become a writer and she immediately started covering the Austin beer industry, standing up profiles of women in beer and covering the people behind breweries, as well as news and events. In 2016, PorchDrinking.com approached her to become a writer and she was promoted to regional editor in 2019. Right before the pandemic in January of 2020, she and her husband David purchased CraftBeerAustin.com. Pam is also the co-organizer for Beer Necessities, an Austin Meet-Up, and the Pink Boots Austin chapter Collaboration Brew Day Liaison.

Incorporating holistic CSR strategies throughout your business plan will help you assess and determine ways to cultivate a positive impact on the community you serve.

So where does social responsibility, specifically DEI strategies, belong as part of your business plan? The answer is quite easy – everywhere.
